Renovation Expectations

1. Preliminary Site Inspection
TJM Builders QLD’s Director Tristan will personally meet with you on-site and provide you with a one-on-one personalised consultation in order to understand your thoughts, expectations, and ultimate vision for your renovation or extension project. As part of the build this is a very important step in the pre-construction/design phase, as it provides a solid foundation to commence with your build, and it will help to add clarity and eliminate any confusion before any work is undertaken.
If needed, Tristan can also provide expert advice on any preplanning requirements that will need to be taken care of prior to the commencement of the building phase.
After your one-on-one on-site meeting, TJM Builders QLD will provide you with a formalised quotation which will detail all facets of the build for your consideration.

2. Approval Stage
Once you have approved the quote and paid your deposit we can formally join as a team to deliver your renovation or extension project. At this stage of the process TJM Builders QLD services have been engaged and are ready to commence work, and we will arrange the necessary administration support to ensure that you are provided with a building contract, home warranty insurance, and any other certification documentation required to commence your project build.

3. Design/PIanning & Programming
TJM Builders QLD will consult with you and discuss your design ideas, including finishing touches, to personalise your renovation and to make it your own, through the selection of fittings and fixtures, and we will coordinate our expert trades to seamlessly deliver your project while ensuring that it is the least disruptive to your lifestyle.

4. Construction Phase
At the beginning of the construction phase our Director Tristan will meet you on-site and welcome you to the physical creation phase of your build. Depending on the type of renovation or extension, this meeting may take place on demolition day for your old kitchen or bathroom, or the beginning of new ground works for a concrete slab or frames that are to be erected.
After this the physical work will begin, which will include all building, electrical, painting and plumbing services that are required. Your site will now be buzzing with activity as Tristan coordinates each trade as required to complete their individual role in your build, and as a valued client, you can look forward to transparent communication and multiple updates each step along the way.

5. Quality Assurance
Throughout the building phase you will have direct access to Tristan as he oversees the progression of your renovation project. We value you as an important member of our team, and we will ensure that you receive the customer care and support that you deserve, and we will always consult with you as we provide transparent communication for your reassurance and peace of mind throughout the entirety of the build.

6. Completion and Handover Day
As we approach the completion of your project and its handover, Tristan will walk you through your build to ensure that the quality of the workmanship exceeds your expectations. You will then be invited to submit any final amendments that you require, and once any final amendments have been completed and all quality approvals met, we will formally hand-over to you your beautiful new and fully completed renovation.
